Please join the APS Type 1 Foundation as we (virtually) race to raise awareness and find a cure for APS Type 1. From February 21-28th, you can join in the Winter Olympics-themed fun by logging any physical activity- running, walking, swimming, biking, pickleball, skiing, dancing, golf, hockey...... and even house/yard work. If you are moving, it counts! "Closing Ceremonies" for our event correspond with Rare Disease Day 2026. APS1 merch (better than a gold medal!) will be awarded to the top fundraiser and miles-logger.

Our 1000 mile course begins in Olympia, Greece and ends in Milan, Italy, the site of the 2026 Winter Olympics. Every day, you will receive an email from Racery reminding you to log your miles. Your individual icon will move along the trail, and your miles will be added to a group total that will move our team icon. Along the route, you will have access to Google street views, so you can see where you are at.
